Ann C. Gushurst

Ann Gushurst, Esq., is of counsel with Griffiths Law PC and was previously a shareholder and Vice President of Gutterman Griffiths since joining the firm in 2005. She is well known in the family law community and for being active in the Family Law Section as a member of the Executive Council for over a decade. She is a past chair of the state Collaborative Law Professionals, sat on the Board for the Colorado section of the American Conciliation and Family Courts, is active in the Metropolitan Denver Interdisciplinary Committee. Her interest in the intersection of civil rights and family law has led her to pioneer many LGBTQ family law issues, including serving as co-counsel in the case that struck Colorado's DOMA laws. More recently, Ann has been interested in the growing field of gray divorce and the interplay between Probate law with Domestic relations. Ann is admitted to the Federal Court and in addition to general domestic law, she also handles Hague Convention custody cases. A Superlawyer for over a decade, Ann has also been recognized by The Best Lawyers in America©, 2018-2020, for Family Law and has been named a “Top Lawyer in Family Law in Denver”, by 5280 Magazine for 2016-20. Ann lectures extensively on such topics as parenting issues, court procedure, alternative dispute resolution and the intersection of civil rights with family law.
