Kevin J. Kinnear

Kevin J. Kinnear, Esq., is an attorney, mediator, and arbitrator located in Broomfield, Colorado. Kevin has practiced water law for over 25 years, including water rights adjudications and appeals, water rights transactions, and related real estate and land use law. He is a graduate of The Colorado College, the University of Colorado School of Law (J.D.), and Pepperdine University Caruso School of Law (LL.M., Dispute Resolution). Kevin is the past chair of the CBA's Water Law Section, current member of the Section's Executive Council, and past co-chair of the Boulder County Bar Association's Section on Natural Resources and the Environment. He is the current Articles Editor for The Colorado Lawyer, Natural Resources Column (Water). Kevin has written articles and given presentations on ethics, Colorado water law, groundwater modeling for lawyers, ditch easements, tap fee agreements, and other water rights matters.
