John R. Heronimus

John R. Heronimus is a shareholder in the national law firm, Polsinelli, where he concentrates his practice in the areas of oil and gas law, real estate law, mining law, and farm and ranch law. He received a B.B.A. degree with distinction in finance and a B.A. degree with distinction in philosophy from Iowa State University. Mr. Heronimus received his J.D. from the University of Iowa, where he was an associate editor for the Iowa Law Review. He has practiced law in Colorado since 1997.
 
Mr. Heronimus is a frequent author and lecturer on the development of oil and gas assets, the use of limited liability companies in structuring real estate and mining transactions, the acquisition and development of agricultural property in Colorado, and wind farm development. He has significant experience drafting drilling, division order, and acquisition title opinions for oil and gas industry clients. In addition, Mr. Heronimus has helped numerous clients in the acquisition, development, and divestiture of major mineral properties. He has also represented numerous clients in the purchase and sale of ranches and farms throughout Colorado, and in the negotiation of their oil and gas leases and surface use agreements.
