Brian D. Meegan has represented and counseled hundreds of business owners, franchisees and executives on issues involving the formation, growth, management or sale of their business. His corporate practice focuses primarily on complex transactions, such as mergers, acquisitions and shareholder/employee buyouts. Mr. Meegan also counsels business owners in the retention of key employees; growth and protection of business assets; and exit planning process. His employment practice focuses on corporate compliance with state and federal employment laws. He also represents business owners, executives, and employees on employment matters in administrative hearings, arbitrations, and civil courts. Prior to joining Ireland, Stapleton, Pryor & Pascoe, PC, Mr. Meegan was a member of Chayet Young Dawson Meegan & Danzo, LLC. He has also practiced with Minor & Brown PC and was a member of the Labor Relations staff at Mountain States Employers Council. Mr. Meegan received his B.S. in Accounting and his J.D. from the University of Colorado at Boulder (Go Buffs!). He was a candidate for the state legislature in 2000 and remains active in state and local politics. He is married to his college sweetheart (Fellow Buff) and has three beautiful children (Future Buffs).
