Miles Davies MediationMiles Davies, J.D., received his initial training in Alternative Dispute Resolution while attending law school at the University of Denver. Shortly after graduation and passing the Bar in 1997, he began practicing law in the areas of domestic relations, criminal defense and landlord/tenant matters. Simultaneously, he began volunteering as a mediator with Jefferson County and co-founded a volunteer mediation service within the Denver Municipal Courts. In 2001, Miles was hired as a contract mediator with the Colorado Judicial Branch Office of Dispute Resolution to handle Domestic Relations cases and, later, District Court Civil matters. About this same time Miles joined as a partner with Dispute Resolution Professionals in Golden, Colorado where he continues to provide mediation services in Domestic Relations and Special Education cases. Miles has been a member of theMac ethics committee for almost two years now and is honored to continue to help promote the important work theMac undertakes for the mediation community.
