Nathifa M. Miller
Rocky Mountain Children's Law CenterAfter earning her law degree from the University of Denver College of Law, Ms. Nathifa Miller served as a public defender for two and a half years. She joined the Children's Law Center as a staff attorney in 1999. In 2005, she helped start the Prevention Partnership Program, through which the Children's Law Center helps strengthen struggling families that are at risk of becoming involved with the department of human services. She is now director of this program, which keeps children from ever entering the child protection system. She also represents abused and neglected children as a guardian ad litem n the Family Integrated Treatment Court program in Jefferson County. This specialized court works with families involved in dependency and neglect cases where substance abuse is an issue.
