Greg Leibold is a partner in the Denver office of Merchant & Gould, P.C., a national IP boutique. Greg currently acts as the national chair for the firm's Electrical & Software Group. His practice focuses on licensing, IP-related due diligence, patent prosecution, and patent portfolio management. Greg is a former U.S. Patent Examiner and law clerk for the Honorable Lewis T. Babcock on the U.S. District Court in Colorado. Prior to returning to private practice, Greg also spent six years as general counsel for two private software companies. Greg received his JD from the University of Colorado, and undergraduate degrees in Electrical Engineering and English from Duke University.
