David B. Law received his Bachelor of Science from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 1991 and his Juris Doctorate with honors from the Drake University Law School in 1996. He is admitted to practice law before the State Bar of Colorado, the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit, and the U.S. Supreme Court. He is also a member of both the Colorado and Denver bar associations.
 
Currently, Mr. Law is a principal of Miller & Law, P.C., practicing in the areas of civil litigation; business litigation; construction litigation, including issues involving mechanics' liens and public works; creditor/debtor collections; and criminal law. Mr. Law helped influence Colorado law through the reported case In re Regan, 151 P.3d 1281 (Colo. 2007), which was instrumental in determining the proper construction of the Colorado Trust Fund Statute (C.R.S. § 38-22-127) for the purpose of assisting unpaid subcontractors and material suppliers on private projects in Colorado.
