Susan Gindin has recently returned to Denver and joined Data Law Group, PC as Of Counsel after spending 3 ½ years handling privacy matters with Walmart in Bentonville, AR. She has over 19 years of privacy law experience including eight years in private law practice and eleven years with corporate legal and compliance teams at Walmart, Verio, and Video Professor. She is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US), she serves on the advisory board of TeachPrivacy, and she is the author of over 50 publications on legal issues related to data privacy/security, IP, advertising, and the Internet and new technologies. Her publications, which include Lost & Found in Cyberspace (which was the first law review article published on Internet privacy, 1997) and Guide to E-Mail and the Internet in the Workplace (Bureau of National Affairs, 1999), have been cited by nearly 200 U.S. law reviews and other articles, as well as by the European Commission, World Bank, Law Reform Commission of Hong Kong, and Canadian Privacy Commissioner.
