Stacy A. Carpenter is a resolution-focused trial attorney and chair of Polsinelli's national Commercial Litigation practice. Ms. Carpenter's practice focuses on business disputes and real estate litigation, with additional experience handling professional liability claims and insurance benefit cases. She works closely with clients to understand their business, build relationships, and manage their legal needs, and she is a strong advocate and strategist who achieves positive and timely outcomes for her clients. Ms. Carpenter has tried many cases to resolution, including claims arising out of asset-purchase agreements, breach of representation and warranty claims, and title insurance, easement, and legal malpractice cases. She is active in the Colorado legal community, having served as the president of the Denver Bar Association and as a long-time member of the Colorado Bar Association Board of Governors. She is also involved in the community as a member of the Metro Denver Economic Development Corporation and a board member of various nonprofit organizations. Ms. Carpenter has been recognized as one of 10 Lawyers of the Decade and one of the Top 25 Women Attorneys in Colorado, and has been rated by Chambers USA, The Best Attorneys in America, and Colorado Super Lawyers. Ms. Carpenter has also received several awards related to her volunteer work and her legislative efforts.
