Rebecca S. Bromley

Honorable Rebecca S. Bromley (Ret.), was born in Morgantown West Virginia. She was raised in VA, KY, KN, Germany (Army Brat) and attended High School in Leavenworth, KS. She attended Smith College in Northampton, MA and Law School at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, VA. She moved to Colorado Springs in 1971 and was in private practice from 1971 to 1981. She was a Magistrate from 1981-1985, County Judge from 1985-2001, District Judge from 2001-2007 and a Senior Judge from 2007 to date. Her interests include hiking, scuba diving, gardening and church handbell choir. She is a member of the following organizations: Kiwanis, Broadmoor Community Church, McAllister House Museum and Community Correction Board. Prior Boards include: Girl Scouts, Red Cross and Pikes Peak Hospice. She is married to Michael Bromley who is a civil attorney and has two adult children and one grandchild.
