Teresa M. Sherman
Teresa M. Sherman began her career as an assistant district attorney in the New York County District Attorney’s office, where she served from 1994 until 1997. There, she prosecuted a wide range of crimes, including violent felonies, drug trafficking, and domestic violence. She has extensive courtroom experience, including numerous jury trials. From 1997 until 2000, Ms. Sherman served as clerk to the Honorable Patricia A. Clark of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Colorado. She currently serves as a member of the Princeton University Alumni Schools Committee and the board of directors of the Rocky Mountain Figure Skating Club. Ms. Sherman’s legal advocacy has been featured on Dateline NBC. She was admitted to the New York bar in 1994 and the Colorado bar in 1996. She graduated from Princeton University with a B.A., magna cum laude, in 1990 and from the University of Michigan Law School, with honors, in 1993. She was the winner of the prestigious Henry M. Campbell Moot Court Competition and served as an editor of the Michigan Journal of International Law.
