Aaron L. Evans is the managing partner at the full-service Denver law firm EVANS CASE, LLP. He has significant expertise in elder law, specifically in the areas of probate administration, probate and estate litigation, estate planning, elder law, guardianships, and conservatorships. His focus is on complex probate and elder law litigation. Mr. Evans has been chair of the CBA Trust and Estate Section Probate Trial and Procedures Committee since February 2014. He is also a member of the Trust and Estate Section of the Denver Bar Association. Mr. Evans was the chair of the Rules & Forms Subcommittee that drafted the current Discovery Rule approved by the Colorado Supreme Court in the fall of 2013. He was the co-chair of the Rule 16 Subcommittee that drafted the revised rule along with a standardized petition and order under consideration with the Colorado Supreme Court. He also served as co-chair of the Statutory Revisions Committee from August 2012 to May 2014 and was a member of the Probate Task Force. Mr. Evans was recognized for outstanding service in trust and estate, probate trial and procedure by the CBA in 2017-2018. He also was featured in Law Week Colorado in 2015. He received his B.A. from the State University of New York at Oswego and his J.D. from Gonzaga University. He was admitted to practice law in Colorado in 1996 and is also admitted to the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado. Active in the probate bar and elder law community, Mr. Evans is committed to mentorship and teaches often at the Colorado Chapter of National Elder Law Attorneys. He volunteers his time at the Denver Probate Court Pro Se Volunteer Desk and joins other probate attorneys to answer questions on KUSA's Law Line 9. His charitable contributions to Von's Vision, Kenzi's Causes, the Rocky Mountain Food Bank, Race for the Cure, and many others also mirror his love for the community.
