Cynthia L. Ciancio, Esq., is a founder and shareholder at Ciancio Ciancio Brown, P.C. and she manages the firm's Family Law Group consisting of 11 attorneys and 8 paralegals.  Ms. Ciancio specializes in divorce work involving complex assets, large businesses, trusts, high net worth individuals, and/or high income spouses (including the stay-at-home spouse of a high earner). She has been doing domestic work since joining her father's firm in 1999. Previous to that she served as a Deputy District Attorney in Adams County, where she learned her top notch litigation skills from some of the best litigators in the state.  Ms. Ciancio is dedicated to her volunteer work aimed at improving the practice of family law, educating other practitioners, and helping to educate judicial officers placed on the domestic bench. Ms. Ciancio currently serves on, and holds executive positions on, multiple family law related board's/committees including, the Executive Counsel of the Colorado Bar Association's Family Law Section (having served her 5-year term in each officer position); Ms. Ciancio is also a member of the Colorado Chapter of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (AAML), having recently finished her 5-year term in each officer position. Ms. Ciancio's most honored position is as Editor (and author of some chapters) to the bi-annual Domestic Relations Bench Bar Book. A training book created by the Family Law Section used to help educate lawyers and judicial officers across the state of Colorado. Many have said the "BBB" is as their number one resource for domestic relations training. Ms. Ciancio has been selected as a "Top Attorney" in 5280 Magazine and the Denver Post, multiple years in a row; "Best Lawyer" in various DR categories in Denver and Boulder, multiple years in a row and currently; as well as having been selected as a Colorado "Super Lawyer" since 2010 and one of Colorado's "Top 50 Women Attorneys" and one of Colorado's "Top 100 Attorneys" since 2012."
