Steve DuPont is a partner at Gross Hartman LLC specializing in the corporate and licensing needs of life science, medical device, biotechnology and biopharmaceutical companies, as well as other emerging technology entities. Steve has extensive experience in the field of complex intellectual property licensing and strategic corporate alliances in the life sciences industry. Most recently, Steve served as Vice President, General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer at Lanx, Inc., a privately-held medical device company. Previously, Steve was the Executive Vice President of Corporate Development and General Counsel at Pharmion Corporation (Nasdaq: PHRM) and led the company through its acquisition by Celgene for $2.9 billion. Prior to his in-house positions, Steve was a partner and head of the Colorado technology transactions practice at Cooley LLP. Before law school, Steve was a process control engineer spending several years designing real-time computer-based process control systems.
