K Jamie Buechler specializes in representing small and closely-held businesses as well as individuals with complex debt structures. Her work includes creditor-debtor workouts, as well as bankruptcy reorganizations and liquidations representing creditors, debtors, trustees and creditors' committees in such industries as real estate investment and development, hotels, heavy equipment, residential and commercial construction, trucking, oil and gas, farming and dairy operations, banking, and municipalities.
She continues to receive one of the highest peer ratings from Martindale Hubble, AV®. She is also a sought-after speaker for continuing legal education seminars. In 2014, she received the Donald E. Cordova Distinguished Service Award by the Faculty of Federal Advocates which is presented to attorneys who take on pro bono matters to represent indigent debtors. In March of 2016, she became Board Certified in Business Bankruptcy Law by the American Board of Certification.
In 2020, Jamie was nominated as a Super Lawyer by Colorado Super Lawyers®. Previously, Jamie was named a Rising Star by Colorado Super Lawyers® for 2009 and 2010. She is also a member of the Rhone-Brackett Inn of Court, the Faculty of Federal Advocates, and the American Bankruptcy Institute.
