John Spiegleman, Esq., As Executive Vice President and General Counsel for DCT Industrial Trust, he is responsible for all legal, risk management and compliance matters. Mr. Spiegleman brings more than 20 years of experience to DCT. Before joining our team in 2011, Mr. Spiegleman served for five years as Senior Vice President and Assistant General Counsel of Apartment Investment and Management Company (Aimco, NYSE: AIV), a public REIT specializing in the ownership, management, development, and redevelopment of multi-family assets. While at Aimco, Mr. Spiegleman managed the legal aspects for all its transactions. Prior to joining Aimco, Mr. Spiegleman was the Senior Vice President of Miller Global Properties for seven years. While at Miller Global-a privately-held company that owns, develops, and operates office and hotel properties throughout the world-Mr. Spiegleman served in legal and business roles. Mr. Spiegleman received his Juris Doctor from the University of Colorado, School of Law and his B.A. in Economics from Denison University.
