From 1995 to 2016, Teresa Locke was an attorney with Holland & Hart, LLP. In January 2017, she and her husband formed The Locke Law Firm, PC. Ms. Locke has successfully represented individuals and businesses in a broad array of disputes for more than 21 years. For the past several years, she has focused her practice on litigating and resolving complex family law disputes. Ms. Locke has tried cases in Colorado, Missouri, and Idaho, and has argued before the Colorado Court of Appeals and the Colorado Supreme Court. She has extensive appellate briefing experience at the Colorado Court of Appeals, Colorado Supreme Court, and Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals. In addition to her family law practice, Ms. Locke uses her trial and appellate experience to represent entities and individuals in commercial disputes. She has handled multi-million dollar cases involving resort condominium redevelopment projects, construction defects, family partnership disputes, and breach of contract actions. She has also represented severely injured individuals, including cases arising from automobile collisions and medical malpractice. She has been lead counsel on wrongful death and catastrophic injury cases. Ms. Locke has tried premises liability cases against Wal-Mart and Toys-R-Us, achieving favorable jury verdicts in both cases.
