Barbara A. Ezyk

Barbara A. Ezyk, Esq. is the Executive Director of the Colorado Lawyer Assistance Program, pursuant to Rule 254, as adopted by the Colorado Supreme Court. Ms. Ezyk has been a Colorado licensed attorney since 1995 and licensed Registered Nurse since 1983. Ms. Ezyk obtained her law degree from the University of Denver and her Bachelor's degree in Nursing from the Metropolitan State College in Denver. Ms. Ezyk worked in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit for approximately 10 years; as a trial attorney for approximately 10 years, as a Legal Risk Manager for 3 years at United Health Care and the Substance Use Education Director at Peer Assistance Services for 2 years. Ms. Ezyk has worked with judges, lawyers and law students in need of assistance due to physical and mental health issues. She has served on the Colorado Lawyers Helping Lawyers Board of Directors and has been an active participant of the Colorado Bar Association and the ABA Commission on Lawyer Assistance Programs.
