T.J. Crowson has served as corporate counsel since 1997, with over a decade spent in the education technology space. Prior to joining Helix Education, T.J. was serving as Associate General Counsel for Pearson's global higher education business. While at Pearson, he also served as Vice President of Legal Affairs and Technology Partnerships, where he provided legal support for Pearson's platform initiatives, technology development and acquisition, customer licensing, OPM and higher education relationships, in addition to developing and managing Pearson's Technology Partner program. His in-house counsel experience includes roles at online learning company eCollege (which was acquired by Pearson), ERP software firms PeopleSoft and JD Edwards, media/cable company Media One and energy company Total Petroleum. T.J. earned his JD and B.B.A from The University of Texas at Austin.
