Barbara Cole, Esq., joined Northern Trust in 2018 and brings over 23 years of experience working with large national corporate fiduciaries and their affluent clients. Barb earned her Bachelor of Architecture Degree from Carnegie Mellon University, her Law Degree from University of New Hampshire and LLM in Taxation from Boston University. Barb is a Sr. Trust Advisor. In her role, Barb is responsible for serving as the relationship manager for individuals, multi-generational families and private foundations. Barb works with clients, their professional advisors, and partners to create, execute and implement goals based wealth planning that incorporates the personal, investment and tax needs of the clients she serves. Barb moved to Colorado to take advantage of the blue sky, sunshine and the Rocky Mountains. Her time in the mountains is spent skiing, kayaking, going local cultural events and great restaurants. Barb enjoys time with her family, friends and 3 dogs. Ms. Cole is a member of Philanthropy Southwest and Colorado Planned Giving Round Table. She sits on the Education Committee of the Helen and Arthur Johnson Depression Center.
