Joel A. Mayo, Esq., assists his clients in planning, creating, and implementing strategies for their commercial transactions. For more than 20 years, he has provided practical, responsive counsel and representation to developers, public and private entities and individuals through all stages of real estate acquisition, entitlement, financing, development, divestment and commercial leasing. As a natural byproduct of his real estate experience, Joel works with both borrower and lender in regard to mortgage and asset-backed loans and also assists developers and real property owners with respect to the negotiation, preparation, and facilitation of development, construction and architectural agreements. Joel has been selected for inclusion in Best Lawyers since 2015 in the area of Real Estate and is a member of the Colorado Bar Association, recently concluding a three year term on the Real Estate Section Council. He also serves on the Board of Directors for Rocky Mountain Conservancy, a nonprofit corporation partnering with and supporting Rocky Mountain National Park through philanthropic efforts and educational publications and programs aimed at advancing stewardship, preservation, and restoration of the Park and similar public lands.
