Honorable Vincent R. White (Ret.) worked as a United States Federal Immigration Judge from 2015 to 2016. Judge White was appointed to the bench in the State of Colorado in 2004 and served as a District Court Judge until his retirement in December 2014. During his time on the bench he presided over thousands of civil, domestic relations, criminal, probate and mental health cases and trials. Judge White also served in the United State Air Force Reserves retiring at the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. In 2010, Judge White attended the National Judicial College Civil Mediation Course located in Reno, Nevada. After graduating from this course he became a certified mediator. He is currently a faculty member for the National Judicial College teaching mediation skills and techniques to other fellow Judges from around the United States and the world. Judge White’s extensive legal background also includes service as a District Court Magistrate in the 17th Judicial District; the Colorado State Public Defender’s Office; the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the City Attorney’s Office for the City of Colorado Springs. His also worked for the Colorado Office of the Attorney General where he was Deputy Attorney General for the Employment and Personnel Division. Judge White established Colorado Mediation and Resolution Services, LLC (CMRS) in 2016. He has conducted over 2000 mediations in the areas of general civil, employment, construction defect, contracts, probate and domestic relations. He is also a private judge and arbitrator. Judge White served on the State of Colorado Alternative Dispute Resolution Advisory Committee from 2015 to 2017. He was inducted into the National Academy of Distinguished Neutrals (NADN) in 2017.
