Richard L. (Dick) Eason, Esq., received his J.D. degree from the University of Denver in December 1956. He has engaged in the private practice of law emphasizing banking law, real property law and commercial litigation, and has also served as counsel for Colorado school districts and the Board of Trustees for State Colleges in Colorado. He has served as an adjunct professor of Property Law for the University of Denver College of Law. Mr. Eason served as President of the Arapahoe County Bar Association, on the Board of Governors of the Colorado Bar Association and as Chairman of its Real Estate Section. He is a member of the bar of the Colorado Supreme Court, the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado (where he served as a member and Chairman of its Committee on Conduct), the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit and the United States Supreme Court. He is a former Colorado District Court Judge and has been a member of the CBA Ethics Committee since 1987.
