Kim H. Goldberger

Senior Judge
Honorable Kim Goldberger was appointed to the Jefferson County bench in 1975 by Governor Richard Lamm. He has served on the Supreme Court Standing Committee on the Rules of Civil Procedure, the Standing Committee of Rules of Criminal Procedure and the Committee on the Rules of the Small Claims Court. He was appointed to the faculty of the National Judicial College where he taught for 10 years. He taught extensively at state and national conferences most recently on the topic of ethics. Judge Goldberger was an avid runner and has completed nineteen marathons including eleven New York City Marathons and four Boston Marathons. He has been a member of the Governor's Council for Physical Fitness currently serves as the Tour Steward of the Ride The Rockies Bicycle tour. Judge Goldberger retired and was appointed a Senior Judge in 2004.  Much of his Senior Judge time involves estate cases.
