Leslie Ebert, Esq., has been the Supervisor of the Housing and Homeless Prevention Unit of Colorado Legal Services (formerly the Legal Aid Society of Metropolitan Denver, Inc.) since January 2014.  Prior to being hired as the Supervisor of the Housing and Homeless Prevention unit, Mr. Ebert was a staff attorney in the unit for the prior twenty years.  He was previously employed for approximately five years as a staff attorney with the Civil Division of the Legal Aid Society in New York City.  He graduated from Syracuse University and received his law degree from the City University of New York (CUNY) Law School at Queens College.  Mr. Ebert has lectured at numerous Landlord-Tenant Continuing Legal Education Seminars, has been a guest speaker at National Association of Housing and Redevelopment Organization (NAHRO) conferences, and participated in numerous training sessions on landlord-tenant issues.  His practice concentrates on defending subsidized housing evictions and terminations from the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program, fair housing issues and consumer issues relating to housing.
