Marc C. Darling

Marc C. Darling, Esq., practiced law in Colorado for 31 years prior to retiring as a shareholder in Wade Ash Woods Hill & Farley, P.C., and before that Steenrod & Darling, P.C. He focused his career on the litigation and administration of trusts and estates. He attended Vanderbilt University, Cambridge University (Trinity College of Law) and the University of Florida before moving to Colorado. Mr. Darling Chaired the Trust & Estate Section (“Section”) of the CBA in 2003 and served 5 terms as the Chair or Co-Chair of SRC.  He also chaired or co-chaired several subcommittees of the Section including: UPC III, Cost and Compensation, and Deadman's Statute and is a member of the Colorado Uniform Trust Code Committee. He has co-authored articles for the Colorado Lawyer and has lectured extensively for CLE.  He was appointed and acted as the Deputy Public Administrator for the City and County of Denver for 10 years. In 2012, he received the inaugural Best Lawyers Trust & Estate Litigation Lawyer of the Year in Colorado, and in 2013 the R. Sterling Ambler Award from the Section.
