James R. Allison

James R. (Jim) Allison, Esq., graduated from the University of Colorado School of Law in 1972.  He was a Deputy and ultimately a Chief Deputy District Attorney in Denver from 1972 to 1985.  In 1985, Jim joined the United States Attorney's Office for the District of Colorado as an Assistant United States Attorney.  He is currently the Criminal Division Chief at the U.S. Attorney's Office.  Jim has lectured on trial techniques for several prosecuting attorney groups in the United States.  He has received the “Distinguished Faculty Award” from the National College of District Attorneys, where he frequently taught.  Jim has trained U.S. military prosecutors in Germany, Korea, and in the United States.  Jim is a “Fellow” of the National College of Trial Lawyers.
