Garth H. Allen is the Director of the School of Finance at the Monfort College of Business at the University of Northern Colorado, winner of the 2004 Baldrige Quality Award. Mr. Allen is also the executive director of the Colorado Insurance Education Foundation, a non-profit foundation established to promote insurance education and research in the Rocky Mountain Region. Mr. Allen has worked to provide and promote insurance education in Colorado for over 30 years.
Mr. Allen has testified as an expert witness in the area of insurance and insurance bad faith in over 100 cases in Colorado and many other states. Mr. Allen is also a frequent lecturer at trade association meetings and educational programs.
