Emily Warren, Esq., is a founding partner at WZW Family Law LLC, a law firm she opened November 1, 2020 with two of her partners from a previous firm. Emily received her law degree from Boalt Hall School of Law at the University of California, Berkeley. She clerked for Hon. (Ret.) Leonard P. Plank in the Colorado Court of Appeals for a year and then became a prosecutor in the 18th Judicial District. She was one of the most experienced trial lawyers in Colorado when she left the DA’s office nearly 20 years later. Emily went into private practice as a family law attorney in 2015, and she was almost immediately introduced to Collaborative Divorce by Diana Powell, one of its earliest practitioners in Colorado. She promptly became qualified to handle collaborative divorce cases and joined CCDP in January 2016. She became a member of the CCDP Board later that year, served as its Executive Vice President in 2017, and its President in 2018. Her practice is a mix of complex litigated, traditional, and collaborative cases.
