Mary Kay Monville is a partner of Beltzer Bangert Gunnell LLP, a boutique construction law firm in Denver, Colorado. Ms. Monville was formerly senior corporate counsel at Flatiron Construction
Corporation, where she was responsible for overseeing claims, and the regional general counsel for
JE Dunn Construction Company, where she was responsible for drafting and reviewing contracts and subcontracts, overseeing claims, addressing insurance issues, and general risk management. Prior to going in-house, Ms. Monville was a partner at Wickwire Gavin, P.C., where she had a national litigation practice and represented owners, sureties, design professionals, contractors, and subcontractors in a wide variety of claims related to construction process, construction defects, differing site conditions, delays and schedule, and payment and lien claims. Since graduating from law school, Ms. Monville’s practice has been dedicated to the area of construction law. Ms. Monville has also lectured extensively and has published several articles on a wide variety of construction law topics.
