Robert T. Hinds, III, Esq., has been an associate and then Partner with the firm of Hinds and Hinds Family Law, P.C., since 1994.  He received his law degree from the University of Denver College of Law in 1994.  A Denver native, Rob received his B.A. from Eckerd College in 1991.  Prior to joining the firm, he served an internship with the Colorado Supreme Court Office of Disciplinary Counsel.  He co-authored “Addressing New Standards for Modification Under the Parental Responsibility Act” (Colorado Lawyer, 1998.)  He has contributed to numerous seminars and family law programs on topics such as Mediation of the High Conflict Divorce, Removal of Children from the State of Colorado and numerous seminars concerning the use of Special Advocates, Child and Family Investigators, and Parental Responsibility Evaluators. Rob  is a member of the Arapahoe and Colorado Bar Associations, member of the Min Yasui Inn of Court, served as a member of the Colorado Bar Association, Executive Council of the Family Law Section from 1995-1996, served as the Public Relations Chairperson of the Arapahoe County Bar Association for 2003-04, and was on the Board of Governors from 2005-2006.   From 2006 to 2009 and 2010-2011, he has served on the Executive Council of the Family Law Section of the Colorado Bar Association, Court Liaison, Committee, 2009 Committee Member of Family Law Task Force on the Ethical Duties of the Domestic Attorney, and 2004-2005 and 2009 - 2012 Co-Chair for the Expert Directory Committee.
