Toni-Anne . Nuñez

Metro Volunteer Lawyers
Toni-Anne Nunez, Esq., is the Director of Pro Bono Programming for the Colorado and Denver Bar Associations, including Metro Volunteer Lawyers. Ever since her time at the University of Windsor, Ontario, Canada, where she received her law degree, Ms. Nunez has had a passion for access to justice in the law -- she led the University's legal aid clinic as one of their Directors, and has only continued to expand upon and further her own and the Denver community's interest in, and commitment to, providing legal services to all, not only those who can afford them.

Following her graduation from law school in 1992, Toni-Anne interned with one of Canada's largest law firms, McCarthy Tetrault, before moving to Colorado, where she began working in family law. After spending several years in the family law field, Ms. Nunez moved to her role as Director of Metro Volunteer Lawyers, and now more recently Director of Pro Bono Programming for the CBA and DBA. In this role, she advocates for attorneys to donate their time to help those who most desperately need it, while serving lawyers in the profession. Toni-Anne is an active member of the Denver, 1st JD, 18th JD and Adams/Broomfield Access to Justice Committees. She also serves on the Colorado Access to Justice Commission Working Group Committee, the Paraprofessionals and Legal Services (PALS) Education and Outreach subcommittee, a co-founding member of the Succession to Service platform, and was an Organizing Committee Member for Legal Entrepreneurs for Justice, where she remains active as a Board Member. She has also served as a Co-Chair of the External Working Group for the Justice For All Summit. Toni-Anne has presented at the national Access to Justice Chairs Conference.
