Lisa E. Battan is the president of Lisa E. Battan, P.C., a law firm located in Boulder, Colorado. Ms. Battan's practice is limited to immigration matters, including family- and business-based immigration cases. Ms. Battan works with U.S. businesses who seek to employ foreign national workers. Clients include extraordinary dancers and musicians, professional athletes, religious workers, high-tech workers, outstanding researchers and scholars, business entrepreneurs, and international executives and managers, among others. She also assists U.S. citizens and lawful permanent residents who wish to petition for their foreign national fiancés, spouses, parents, and children to join them in the United States. Ms. Battan is a member and past chair of the Colorado Chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and past chair of the Colorado Bar Association's Immigration Section. She has spoken and written extensively on immigration issues.
