Jody Harper Alderman, Esq., is a managing member and owner of Alderman Bernstein, a law firm in Denver that represents clients in eminent domain, real estate-related litigation and real estate transactions. Jody has over 24 years of experience in eminent domain law, representing both condemnors and property owners, including numerous valuation trials and significant appellate work. She also does both transactional and litigation work related to real estate, including contract disputes, quiet title actions and Rule 105 proceedings, Rule 106 appeals of land use decisions, drafting and negotiating a variety of real estate contracts, leases, easements and other conveyance instruments, and taking such transactions through due diligence and closing. Jody has presented at numerous continuing legal education and other conferences on various topics related to eminent domain. She has been selected as a Super Lawyer in eminent domain since 2014, and has been designated as one of the Best Lawyers in Eminent Domain and Condemnation each year since 2007.
