He has served as a board member of Agrace HospiceCare Foundation for many years, including as its Chairman from 2002-2006. Two years ago, Mr. Langer and his wife established a non-profit charitable trust called Embracing Life's End Foundation, whose mission is to use photography and story-telling to educate others about the dying process.
