Michael A. Williams, J.D., was a full time trial lawyer from 1959 through 2001. From 1964 he was also a part time arbitrator and mediator. Since 2001 he has been a full time arbitrator and mediator. He is a member of the American Arbitration Association's Large Complex Case Panel, their Commercial Panel, Construction Panel, Olympic Panel, Denver Panel of Emergency Arbitrators and member of the AAA health care payor provider rules panel. He is also a member of the Denver Panel of Distinguished Neutrals of the CPR Institute for Dispute Resolution, and has been on various panels for the Duke University Private Adjudication Center. He is a Fellow in the American College of Trial Lawyers and former Chair of the ADR Committee of the ACTL, a member and past state president of ABOTA, and a member and Past President of the College of Commercial Arbitrators. He is also a member of the American Law Institute, and has served on their Member Consultative Panels for the Restatement of the Law Governing Lawyers, and Employment Law. He has been a fully trained arbitrator since 1964 and has frequently acted as a trainer for arbitrators and mediators. He has been listed in Best Lawyers in American for 25years.
