Chris B. Little

Christopher B. Little practices in the field of general civil litigation, emphasizing professional liability defense by representing lawyers, accountants, architects, real estate agents/brokers, and general contractors in malpractice actions before state and federal courts. Mr. Little also represents attorneys before the Colorado Supreme Court and its Attorney Regulation Committee. His practice includes complex commercial litigation.
 
Mr. Little was the president of the Denver Bar Association from 2005 to 2006, a member of the DBA’s Board of Trustees from 2003 to 2007, and is the past chair of the CBA Public Law Education Committee. He is a member of the DRI Professional Liability Committee. He served on the board of the Colorado Defense Lawyers Association from 2002 through 2010 and served as its president from 2005 to 2006. Mr. Little has recently completed his appointment to the ABA Lawyers’ Professional Liability Committee, which operates the Lawyers’ Professional Liability Consortium. He has served a six-year term as a delegate to the American Bar Association House of Delegates. He is also a member of the CBA Professional Liability Committee. He is AV Preeminent-rated by Martindale-Hubbell and a Colorado Super Lawyer. He lectures and publishes articles on lawyers’ professional liability and risk management.
 
Mr. Little is actively involved in various community affairs and participates in many philanthropic activities. In December 2002, he was awarded the Richard Marden Davis Award. In 2001, he was named the Denver Bar Association’s Volunteer Attorney of the Year. He has also been distinguished by the Defense Research Institute with an Exceptional Performance Citation, and by the Denver Business Journal with the 40 Under 40 Award. He is a former trustee to the Colorado Legal Aid Foundation. Most recently, he has been distinguished for his professionalism by the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association. He has served on the Colorado Board of Governors and is a member of the Colorado and American Bar Foundations.
