W V 'Bernie' V. Siebert
W.V. Bernie Siebert is partner in the Denver office of Sherman & Howard where he practices labor and employment law exclusively representing management. His practice includes traditional labor law, employment law litigation, wage-hour litigation and class and collective actions. He has been listed in Best Lawyers in America, Chambers USA, Who's Who Legal for Labour and Employment, has been named one of Colorado's Super Lawyers, was inducted into The College of Labor and Employment Lawyers as a Fellow in 1996 and was a member of its Board Of Governors. He was named Best Lawyers Lawyer of the Year for “Labor Law-Management” for 2016. He is past Management Co-Chair of the ABA's Developing Labor Law Committee and is a management representative to the Council of the Section of Labor and Employment Lawyers of the ABA. He was named as one of the top 20 most powerful Traditional Labor Lawyers in the Nation by Human Resource Executive and Lawdragon. He is also a Fellow in Litigation Counsel of America and its Wage-Hour Defense Institute. He has had published a number of articles in such publications as The Labor Lawyer, Employment Law, CCH Labor Law Journal and The College of Labor and Employment Newsletter. He is past Chair of the Editorial Board of the ABA Journal of Labor & Employment Law. Additionally he has been a contributing editor, assistant editor, editor, senior editor and Editor-in-Chief of the treatise The Developing Labor Law and a Chapter Editor to the Fair Labor Standards Act and Employment Discrimination Law treatises.
