Jeffrey Brinen, Esq., is the Managing Partner of the firm. He has specialized in the practice of bankruptcy law since 1988, including debtor/creditor relationships, workouts, bankruptcy litigation, and other insolvency issues. Jeff represents corporations, limited liability companies, partnerships, and individuals with respect to Chapter 11 reorganizations, out-of-court workouts, and Chapter 7 liquidations. Jeff represents both debtors and creditors and he has successfully guided many businesses and individuals through the Chapter 11 bankruptcy process to plan confirmation. Jeff has handled a wide spectrum of bankruptcy cases, including hotels, office buildings, shopping centers, land developments, cattle ranches, housing developments, construction companies, dental practices, law firms, manufacturing plants, various service industries, and oil and gas companies. Jeff has also represented individuals from a variety of backgrounds including real estate developers, business owners, doctors, dentists, lawyers, farmers, and financial professionals. Jeff has testified as an expert witness on bankruptcy issues and has served as co-chair of the Bankruptcy Subsection of the Colorado Bar Association. He has frequently lectured on bankruptcy issues to attorneys and non-legal professionals. In 1980, Jeff received his bachelor's degree from the University of Florida and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa. He earned his law degree from George Washington University in 1984.
