Lisa Green, Esq., has been practicing Immigration and Nationality Law since 1988. She is currently a partner  at Lisa Green and Associates.  Lisa has handled hundreds of asylum cases in front of the Houston Asylum Office, the Immigration Court in Denver and the Board of Immigration Appeals. Lisa  is a member of the  AILA National Asylum and Refugee Liaison Committee  where she has previously served as Vice Chair and Chair. Lisa is also a member of the AILA Colorado Asylum Committee where she also previously served as Chair.  Lisa is the Colorado AILA  Liaison to the Houston Asylum Office. She is an Adjunct Professor of Law at the University of Colorado School of Law where she teaches asylum and refugee law. Lisa has been instrumental in the creation of the Colorado Asylum Project which matches indigent asylum seekers with pro bono attorneys and mentors attorneys for this organization as well as for RMIAN. Lisa lectures nation-wide on asylum issues.
