Sarah F. Pritchard

Sarah Forsythe Pritchard serves as Associate University Counsel at the University of Colorado Boulder.  Prior to joining the Office of University Counsel, she served as Deputy General Counsel for the National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR) and as in-house counsel for several corporations in the finance and pharmaceutical industries - most notably for Sandoz, a subsidiary of Novartis, and for Key Bank Financial Services Corporation.  Prior to starting her career in-house, Ms. Pritchard clerked for the Honorable Justice George E. Lohr of the Colorado Supreme Court and for Judge Murray Richtel in the 20th Judicial District of Colorado.  She is an active member of the Colorado legal community and enjoys mentoring to members of the Colorado Bar as well as to students and recent graduates of the University of Colorado School of Law.  She was recently elected to the Board of Directors for the Boulder County Bar Association and has served that organization both as co-chair of the Intellectual Property Law Section and as founding co-chair of the In-House Counsel Section.  Ms. Pritchard received her B.A. from the University of Virginia and her J.D. from the University of Colorado.
