Claire Dickson is an attorney in the Health/Elder Law Unit of the Denver office of Colorado Legal Services. Ms. Dickson has been practicing law for more than 20 years, assisting low-income individuals, individuals with disabilities, and seniors with public benefits issues. Ms. Dickson began her public interest career at DNA People's Legal Services on the Navajo Nation and has worked for both the New Mexico and Colorado protection and advocacy organizations, which are federally authorized to protect and advocate for the rights of individuals with disabilities. In addition to individual casework, Ms. Dickson has conducted investigations of abuse/neglect of individuals with disabilities and engaged in systemic advocacy to promote community integration. Ms. Dickson is a graduate of the University of Denver College of Law and is licensed to practice in New Mexico, Colorado, and the Navajo Nation.
