David M. Swank, a Denver native, attended the University of California at Santa Barbara (B.A. with honors, 1989) and the University of Colorado (J.D., M.B.A., 1993), where he served as staff editor of the University of Colorado Law Review. He is a member of the Trust and Estate sections of the Denver and Colorado bar associations and the Denver Estate Planning Council. Mr. Swank has authored articles in The Colorado Lawyer and has co-authored an article in a national professional

journal, Trusts & Estates. He has been named a Colorado Super Lawyer in the practice area of estate planning/trusts multiple times from 2006-2013. Mr. Swank works primarily in the areas of estate planning, estate and trust administration, and estate and trust litigation.
