Thomas J. Seaman

Thomas Seaman, Esq., is one of the most experienced civil trial attorneys in Colorado, having tried and arbitrated scores of lawsuits during a legal career that began with his admission to the Colorado bar in 1973.  After graduating in 1968 from Knox College in Galesburg, Illinois, Mr. Seaman served for two years as an artillery officer in the U.S. Army.  He then obtained his J.D. degree from the University of Denver in 1973.   He began practice with the firm, then known as Flowers & Creamer, in June 1973, and became a shareholder in 1976, when the name of the firm changed to Creamer & Seaman. Mr. Seaman continued as a partner/owner of successor firms for the next 38 years, until joining FP&A as Of Counsel in 2014.   He has extensive experience in defense of personal injury suits and has also handled a large number of insurance bad faith cases.  In addition to his trial experience, Mr. Seaman has handled numerous cases before the appellate courts of Colorado.  He has been a lecturer at several continuing legal education programs.  He is a member of the American, Colorado and Denver Bar Associations and is also a member of the Colorado Defense Lawyers Association and the Defense Research Institute.
