David H. Yun
Colorado Court of Appeals
Hon. David Yun has been a judge on the Colorado Court of Appeals since 2020. Before joining the Court, Judge Yun focused his law practice primarily on civil appeals, health care law, and medical malpractice law. He regularly argued cases before the Colorado Supreme Court, the Colorado Court of Appeals, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit and was part of a team that successfully appealed a case to the United States Supreme Court. Before joining the Court, he was recognized as one of the top appellate lawyers in publications such as the Best Lawyers of America, Super Lawyers, and 5280 Magazine. He is a Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America. He is a member of the Colorado Civil Jury Instructions Committee and the Colorado Bar Association's Ethics Committee. He has co-authored several law review articles in the First Amendment area and op-ed columns on race and civil rights.
