John W. Mill, Esq., is a construction lawyer with Sherman & Howard L.L.C. in Denver. He represents developers and others in contract negotiations; risk-reduction and litigation-avoidance strategies; the mediation, arbitration, litigation and resolution of construction defect claims; and other construction issues. John has experience on both the plaintiffs' side and the defendants' side of construction defect claims; has negotiated a number of repair-based settlements; and has closely followed proposed legislation to address construction defect claims. He has been involved in over a dozen large, complex, multi-party condominium construction defect matters. He is the assistant head of Sherman & Howard's Construction Industry Practice Group and an Adjunct Professor teaching construction law at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law.
