Paula Greisen, Esq., of Greisen Medlock, LLC has committed her career to vindicating her clients’ civil rights. Her practice focuses on all aspects of employment discrimination, the advancement and protection of LGTBQ and other civil rights, and government abuse of power cases. She has successfully represented a wide variety of clients against some of the biggest companies and law firms in this country, as well as the local, state, and federal governments. Paula has led the charge on some of the highest profile cases in Colorado. She was the lead trial lawyer representing the gay couple in the U.S. Supreme Court decision in Masterpiece Cakeshop in which a cakeshop owner refused to sell the couple a wedding cake based on his religious beliefs. She currently represents a transgender woman who was refused service because of her gender identity and the former Aurora Chief of Police who was fired for advocating against racist policing. Paula currently serves as an LGBTQ advocate and on the Board of Directors for Colorado Legal Service. She is a former president of the Federal Bar in Colorado, has been repeatedly recognized in The Best Lawyers in America, was named the Best Lawyers® 2020 “Lawyer of the Year for Plaintiff’s Employment Law” in Colorado, is a “SuperLawyer” and a “Top lawyer” in Denver. She was awarded the CTLA “Case of the Year” award for her represents of over 3000 people with disabilities and the ACLU Edward Sherman Award for her legal work. Her biggest accomplishment is raising two freaking amazing kids along with three dogs and two cats.
