Jen Erickson Baak, Esq., is Senior Counsel at Hilgers, PLLC, the largest women-owned law firm in the country. Her practice focuses on brief writing and civil appeals. Jen is also active in the CBA Appellate Subsection where she currently serves as Vice-Chair of the Subsection. Previously, Jen practiced at the City of Chicago Department of law in its Appellate Division, as an associate attorney at Winston & Strawn in Chicago, and clerked for the Hon. William J. Bauer, on the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.
