James X. Quinn

18th District Court
Honorable James Quinn is a Magistrate for the Arapahoe County District Court, currently handling a domestic relations and criminal docket. Prior to his appointment to the bench in 2019, from 1999 until 2019, he served as a First Assistant Attorney General and a Senior Assistant Attorney General with the Colorado Attorney General's Office in the Civil Litigation and Employment Law Section. He also serves as a Hearing Board Member with the Colorado Supreme Court, Office of the Presiding Disciplinary Judge. Prior to working at the Attorney General's Office he worked in private practice with Campbell Bohn & Leffert, LLC, and Montgomery, Little and McGrew, P.C. where his practice focused on corporate/commercial litigation, criminal defense, domestic relations, and general litigation. He is a graduate of the University of Colorado, and the University of Colorado Law School.
